I want to empower you to buy things to own for life, to be an owner and not consumer. I make good quality hard wearing pieces that with care will last you a lifetime. And if you need a re-pair, re-condition or gold re-plated then I can do that for you with a promise that I won't make profit from doing so.

I belive that all businesses have a duty to do right by people and the planet. I don't want to take more than I give back. Through joining the 1% for the Planet organisation, I am donating 1% of my annual turnover (not profit - I give regardless of profit) to grassroots environmental organisations.

Handmade for you
My workshop is based in Birmingham UK. I make my designs using locally sourced materials, honing traditional silversmithing techniques. My pieces which are heavy enough for a hallmark are stamped at the Assay Office in Birminghams historic Jewellery Quarter.
BEAUTIFULLY PACKAGED FOR YOU
My pieces are beautifully packed for you, and more importantly eco friendly. Each piece comes in a white linen-cotton drawstring pouch and a luxury box. Hallmarked pieces also come with a Hallmark authenticity card.
PLANTING TREES WITH ECOLOGI
Since September 2020 my business has been a member of Ecologi, an organisation who I pay monthly to plant enough trees to offset the carbon footprint of my workforce.
Additionally a tree is planted for every piece sold through my website.
As of October 2023 ML Jewellery has planted over 2700 trees.

The handwriting engraving service Mikaela offers is incredible. I reached out for a custom piece with my mom's handwriting and even though the peice I wanted is quite small, Mikaela was able to make it work. The piece turned out better than I expected -- it's a perfect memento that I can now wear every day. Mikaela was also such a pleasure to work with and provided exceptional service throughout the process. I loved it so much, I ended up getting the same engraving on another piece for my sister. This is my second item of jewellery from Mikaela and it’s just as fabulous as the first. The pearl earrings are dainty but stand out against the hoops.
