DARCY CHAIN

Regular price £125.00
Unit price  per
Tax included.

The name Darcy is of Irish origin derived from Dorcha, meaning; dark, dusky and enigmatic.

This chain is made in England, I buy it on a reel in the same way you would buy fabric. It is cut, soldered and polished by yours truly.

Darcy is 18 inches which is ideal for wearing as a stand alone piece and also layers well with other pieces in my range. As always please get in touch if you would prefer an alternative length.

SIZE

Darcy chain with lobster clasp fastening: 18 inches (45.5cm)

MATERIALS

Silver: Solid sterling silver.

Gold: Solid sterling silver - plated in responsibly sourced and ethical 24ct Gold.

My gold pieces are classed as Vermeil, this means that the base metal is Sterling Silver and there has been 2.5 microns of 24ct gold deposited on its surface. I plate my rings to 5 microns as they see more wear and tear.

Vermeil gold is the hardest wearing gold plate as it has such a high minimum deposit required. However it will still naturally fade over time, especially in high pressure areas such as where the jump ring sits on the chain. Please read how to prolong the life of your gold jewellery here. I offer a re-plating service which you can find out about here.

Darcy chain

The Darcy chain is lovely. I got an extension chain as well to change up the look. Both orders came so quickly, in time for my holiday which was great. I don’t usually splash out so this was a treat for me. A beautiful way to mark getting through a bit of a tough time. I would definitely recommend Mikaela’s jewellery, for the ethics behind it, quality and the designs.
