Inspired by the Baroque panelling at Croome Court, there is something about this era that appeals to my more is more side. The opulence and grandeur, but also the old worn and faded side the grand buildings and crumbling French Chateaus. Ornate details such as scallop shells adorn the surface, the same scallop shell that are echoed in my Engraved Mirror pendant.
This piece is designed to sit alongside my Classic Square pendant, using the same textured surface and loop.
It sits on an english made open curb chain.
There is a small plaque on the back with the hallmark and you will receive an authenticity hallmark card, detailing the marks and their meaning.
SIZE
Open Curb Chain: 50.5cm (20 inch)
Pendant: Width: 1.2cm Height: 2.2cm or 3.1cm including loop
MATERIALS
Silver: Solid sterling silver.
Gold: Solid sterling silver - plated in responsibly sourced and ethical 24ct Gold.
My gold pieces are classed as Vermeil, this means that the base metal is Sterling Silver and there has been 2.5 microns of 24ct gold deposited on its surface. I plate my rings to 5 microns as they see more wear and tear.
Vermeil gold is the hardest wearing gold plate as it has such a high minimum deposit required. However it will still naturally fade over time, especially in high pressure areas such as where the jump ring sits on the chain. Please read how to prolong the life of your gold jewellery here. I offer a re-plating service which you can find out about here.
