‘This Prettiest Star collection is the result of my obsession with Birkin and Bowie. Two icons that stick out to me when it comes to doing things differently, and two sources of inspiration that have helped me develop my own sense of style.
I wanted the pieces to have a vintage feel to them, and to be worn layered together. Of course they had to be gold, and they had to be pieces that I would want to reach for everyday. Pieces you can lend to your friends, your boyfriend, your girlfriend - pieces to be loved and worn forever.’

Textured rectangle pendant with embossed star which sits on a Figaro chain with a lobster lock fastening.

Materials
Silver: Solid sterling silver.
Gold: Solid sterling silver - plated in responsibly sourced and ethical 24ct Gold.
My gold pieces are classed as Vermeil, this means that the base metal is Sterling Silver and there has been 2.5 microns of 24ct gold deposited on its surface. I plate my rings to 5 microns as they see more wear and tear.
Vermeil gold is the hardest wearing gold plate as it has such a high minimum deposit required. However it will still naturally fade over time, especially in high pressure areas such as where the jump ring sits on the chain. Please read how to prolong the life of your gold jewellery here.
