My Eve chain is a mix of an Italian Belcher chain and an English Double curb. I wanted to feature the double curb chain as it has a real vintage feel and is used in many designs across my collection. Perfect for layering up.
I buy the chains on a reel in the same way you would buy fabric. It is cut, soldered and polished by yours truly.

Belcher & Double Curb Chain: 18 Inches including lobster lock fastening.
MATERIALS
Silver: Solid sterling silver.
Gold: Solid sterling silver - plated in responsibly sourced and ethical 24ct Gold.
My gold pieces are classed as Vermeil, this means that the base metal is Sterling Silver and there has been 2.5 microns of 24ct gold deposited on its surface. I plate my rings to 5 microns as they see more wear and tear.
Vermeil gold is the hardest wearing gold plate as it has such a high minimum deposit required. However it will still naturally fade over time, especially in high pressure areas such as where the jump ring sits on the chain. Please read how to prolong the life of your gold jewellery here.
